Saturday – Drives

Saturday – Drives, Adventure & Entertainment

Saturday balances driving with space around it.

  • Morning drivers briefing
  • Group drives on Welsh country roads
  • Time back at base to explore, rest, or head out again

In the afternoon, the Veterans Run offers a 90-minute drive through Ministry of Defence training grounds in the Brecon Beacons. It’s a unique route and a highlight of the weekend.

Later, things shift gears slightly.

There’s time to cool off, including the on-site waterslide, before Saturday evening’s entertainment.
Saturday night features a 60s-themed evening, with live performances, fancy dress, and prizes for the best dressed club.

Sunday – The Elan Valley Run

Sunday is the reason everyone’s here.

Hundreds of Minis come together for the full Elan Valley Run, driving around the reservoirs as spectators line the route through the valleys.

The event concludes at the end of the run.
